The ULTIMATE list of holiday books for children

Do you have a child who LOVES books?

Are you looking for a few new books to add to your child’s library?

Who doesn’t LOVE a good book?!  Books are the gateway to literature, reading, and language.  Exposing children to books early on in their lives aids in their language development.  Something as simple as reading to your child will open up a whole world of learning for them!

My love of books

As someone who has their own giant collection of children’s books, I’m here to tell you that your child can NEVER have too many books!  Over the 20 years that I taught young children (3 to 6 year olds), I collected SO many children’s books that I have quite the collection! I still have them, even though I am no longer teaching in a classroom.  I refuse to part with them; against the wishes of my husband; because they bring back so many awesome memories of children in my classroom over the years. That’s what books do; they bring so much joy and establish memories that stay with you a lifetime!

  5. The Old Lady Who…. books are favorites in our house. They always make kids laugh. The sequence in those books is perfect to help with memory skills. We always bring out for different seasons that way children are excited to read them again and don’t get bored with the same books. I love these holiday books. Rachel from Explore Kid Talk.com
