Books are a great way to spend quality time with your child, and encourages a healthy love of reading and literature!
Avid book collector
Although I no longer teach in a classroom, I REFUSE to give up any of my books that I’ve collected over the years. They all hold a special place in my heart, and they bring back good memories from my time teaching. Many of the books I have even came from children that I had in my class over the years, so there is no way that I could part with them!

Building your child’s library
If you haven’t started yet, these titles are great for starting your child’s at home library. It’s good to have a variety of books that interest your child that cover a range of topics and even holidays like Valentine’s Day! Books are great anytime of year, and obviously make AMAZING gifts, no matter the occasion!
This list contains not only a list of great Valentine’s Day books, but also some fun activity books as well!

In conclusion
I hope that you find some great books to add to your child’s library! With early exposure, children learn necessary language through literature and reading. Something as simple as reading to your child every day will promote language skills and hopefully instill a love of reading in them!

This is a great list of books. I used so many of them when I taught Kindergarten and have a ton at home. I didn’t know there was a Little Blue Truck Valentine book. We love that series!
