These St. Patrick’s Day books are a great way to celebrate Read Across America!

 

National Read Across America Day is in March, and what better way to celebrate than with a list of St. Patrick’s Day books! Reading with your child is a great way to spend quality time with your child, and it also instills a healthy love of reading!

If you’ve been following me for awhile, then you know that I no longer teach in a classroom, but I REFUSE to give up any of my books that I’ve collected over the years. With both my daughters being young adults, I will keep my book collection to (hopefully)  share with my grandchildren!

Building your child’s book collection

You could and should start building your child’s book collection before they are born! Soft book, board books, and story books are all great option to add some variety to your child’s library. Try choosing books that cover a range of topics, holidays and that have diverse characters in them. Remember, books are a great choice anytime of year, and obviously make AMAZING gifts, no matter the occasion!

Try your luck with these fun St. Patrick’s Day books

1. The Night Before St. Patrick’s Day

It’s the night before St. Patrick’s Day, and Tim and Maureen are wide awake setting traps to catch a leprechaun!
