My weight loss journey

If you’ve been following me for awhile and have been reading my posts, you will recall my goal of wanting to live a healthier lifestyle. I’ve been on a path to a healthier lifestyle for over a year, making small changes to my diet and overall daily routine when it comes to eating and exercising.

In addition to eating healthier, exercising and practicing yoga everyday, I have embarked on a weight loss goal to lose ten to fifteen pounds. My goal is to lose weight, find some new healthy eating tips, and build muscle and strength along the way.

I have found that traditional weight loss programs and tips do not necessarily always work for my lifestyle; so a program that is out of the norm is more up my alley.  I noticed that once I turned forty, my body changed a bit, and losing weight in ways I had before were not working any longer.  If you’re anything like me, then you’ve had your fair share of successful and non successful outcomes with weight loss. The most important things I’ve learned are to not be too hard on yourself, set achievable goals, and not to sweat the small stuff.

  7. Sounds intriguing. Personally, I’m not a late-night eater. However, I do believe that eating healthy fats is good. I did a carb detox this year and eliminating sugar from our diets is a game-changer for health. I hope you learn some new things and enjoy the process.
