I don’t know about you, but my favorite season is Spring. I love the longer days, the flowers blossoming, and all the fun activities that you can engage in when it’s springtime.  (Although my allergies would say otherwise!)

This is why I’ve come up with this bucket list of activities that are great for kids (and adults) to do to kick off Spring! Many of the ideas for children do not require an adult, while others do. 2. We’ve already done a few of these and have the materials for a few more. I think kites are going to have to go in Easter baskets this year! (And while I never have enjoyed getting super dirty outside, I know I need to give my kids more opportunities to do that!)

  3. Love this list. We cannot wait to start planting flowers!

  4. We have plant flowers as one of our bucket list activities.

  5. These are great ideas! I can’t wait to try many of them. Thank you!

  6. This is a great list. I remember growing up doing a lot of these with my grandmother. Did you know you can also hatch butterflies and release them into the wild? I think the kids would get a kick out of that.

  7. Some wonderful ideas here! My boys are a little older now – I wish I could have those days back again. Spring is the best season!
BTW – what is a rain gauge? I’ve not heard of that?
