3. You do not know what content interests your readers
Solution: Google Analytics
A way to track your posts, audience, and site visits-
Google Analytics is a must have if you are serious about your blog. It is a free tracking tool that takes all of the data collected from your site and analyzes it for you, so that you can understand what your readers are interested in the most and how you can meet their needs. There are so many metrics that you can analyze and compare in Google Analytics. You can set up Google Analytics for free. Just follow the steps on the site.
I mostly focus on and have found that the most useful are where my readers are coming from; as in are they organic or from an outside source, what posts they are clicking on the most, and if they are new or returning users. Of course, maintaining & growing my unique monthly visitors and lowering my bounce rate are also important metrics as well. Google Analytics is full of valuable information for your site overall, so it is definitely something work setting up for your blog. Knowing what readers are interested in will help you in determining what content works and doesn’t work, allowing you to adjust accordingly. This can help in the ways in which you market to your readers, thus increasing the likelihood of turning readers into regular readers and hopefully customers.

I am seriously making all of these mistakes. I am so glad that you have linked up tools to help with this, thank you so much!
Ya know, these are some great tips, but I tried fiverr a few times and I had terrible experiences! I paid for a logo (after seriously vetting all my options) and I still hated it and I just paid so the experience could be over. Then again with trying to get some extra pins created – I paid after 3 weeks of “attempted” revisions because she was wasting more of my time than she was saving…. I went to Etsy instead and got lucky with a few people that were having serious sales and i got a new logo and some other VA help that way. I don’t think I could recommend fiverr – but maybe I just did it wrong.
Hi Sara! Bummer that you had a bad experience with a designer on Fiverr. Luckily there are so many designers, and others have had great experiences.
Building that email list was tricky when I first started. It took a while to figure it out.
I’m super nervous to try teachable but youre the third person i’ve heard mention it. Its worth giving a try!
